After breakfast, we will start our 6 days Marrakech Chefchaouen desert trip with a drive along the High Atlas mountains. Our day trip will include a couple of stops at some touristic places such as Argan Oil workshops at the High Atlas. We will be taken on a short cultural guided visit inside the workshop to see how the ladies exporting the Oil out of the Argan nuts. Our day tour continues towards the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou “A UNESCO heritage and a settled site for a couple of Glaoui families”. At our arrival in the Kasbah, we will be going on a guided visit with our driver/guide to discover the amazing views of the buildings and wander inside its Mud walls. We then return for our lunch break in a local restaurant.
Sometime in the afternoon, we will continue driving towards the city of Ouarzazate. The name of Ouarzazate means (City without noise) also called “The Hollywood of Africa”, includes a stop at Taourirt Kasbah to take some panoramic photos.
Before our journey finishes, we will drive along the Valley of Thousand Kasbah, also known as the “Rose Valley”. During our drive in this Valley, we will enjoy the view of its houses designed as Kasbahs. With its fields of the roses along the roadsides. We then join the Valley of Dades to reach our accommodation for checking in. Dinner and overnight in our Dades Gorge riad.
Once we have breakfast, we will start our day tour drive back along Dades Valley to visit one amazing rock formation known as “The Monkey Toes”. We leave the Dades valley towards Tinghir and the Todra valley, enjoying the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. On arrival at the Gorge, we will walk under the 300m high red cliff, where many Rock-climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. We continue our trip to Erfoud and Rissani where we have lunch. Afterward, we leave for the village of Merzouga where we will go on our camel trek to the top of sand dunes, there we will make a great souvenir of sunset photos. Afterward, we will come back by camels to our luxury desert camp for dinner and night under the moonlight and thousand bright stars.
According to your choice, we will wake up early in the morning to walk to the top of the lower sand dunes or go on our camel trek to watch what will be the best sunrise of your life. Afterward, we’ll peacefully camel trek back to our riad for breakfast. En route, you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes changing with the light as the day progresses. Since it’s our last desert tour day, we will start driving to Fes via Errachidia along with the magnificent. Ziz valley carved through volcanic rock, and through Tizi-N-Talghamt Pass to Midelt. We will arrive at Zaida to enjoy a barbecue and a fresh glass of tea then continue our journey to Azrou, a ‘Berber village’ in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where we stop to see and feed the Barbarian apes in the famous Cedar forest before continuing our trip to Ifrane, “the French village”. We might stop for a drink then drive to our hotel in Fez where we will check-in for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, We will drive to Chefchaouen “the blue and white city of Morocco” crossing the Rif mountains with their olive trees gardens and northern towns. Upon arrival to Chefchaouen, we will go on a visit to the old Medina of Chefchaouen. We also walk in the Medina enjoying the view of its blue and white alleys and walls. We will return to our hotel in Chefchaouen for overnight and dinner included.
Today is your free day in the blue city, you will be free to explore the city on your own peace.
After breakfast, We will start our last day trip by driving to Tangier and crossing the Rif mountains. Upon arrival at Tangier, we will transfer you to your hotel or airport according to your trip program and timing. “End of our Tour from Marrakech”.
